Tein eteen ja taakse vastalaskoksia ja ylös etuosaan leikkasin trikoosta pienen pöllö-aplikaation. Mekossa on reilusti kasvunvaraa - nyt sitä voi pitää paitojen päällä ja ensi kesänä se menee sellaisenaan.
Suunnitelmissa on ommella vielä toisellekin tytölle Pöllö-kankaasta jotain, kenties paita tai jälleen kerran mekko.
One week ago I spent a weekend at my mom's and I naturally took my sewing machine and some pieces of fabric with me. In this dress I combined violet cotton with Owl-tricot.
There are pleats both in the front and back. I also made a small Owl-application in the front piece. The dress is now slightly big even for my first-borne daughter but that's why she can wear it with a shirt under it. Next summer it will be fine just like that.
I'm planning to sew a shirt or another dress so that the both daughters could have outfits of same print.
She is so cute in her dress!! HOOOO,, to perfect colors!

PoistaThis is so lovely, what a great play dress! Really nice to make it just that little bit bigger so kids have a bit more time to wear it. It would be such a shame to go to all the effort to sew something and then it only fits for a few months.
VastaaPoistaI now have a small child to sew for as well, I'm thinking little romper suit! Let's see how it works out.
